Stephen Seah - Co-Founder & Technical Advisor
10+ Years in BSF Automation and Project Deployment
With over a decade of hands-on experience in Black Soldier Fly (BSF) bioconversion systems, Stephen Seah has played a pioneering role in advancing sustainable waste-to-value insect farming technologies across China, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
Stephen specializes in designing scalable BSF automation solutions that convert organic waste - including food scraps and agricultural residue into high-value end products such as insect protein for animal feed, biofertilizer, and bio-oil. This “trash to cash” approach not only addresses pressing food and supply chain security issues but also supports circular economy goals and environmental regeneration.
From automation design and waste stream adaptation to on-site training and operational troubleshooting, Stephen has led the successful deployment of BSF facilities processing up to 100 tons of organic waste daily. His extensive network spans manufacturers, agritech startups, and government-backed sustainability programs ensuring each project is grounded in local realities while meeting global standards for reliability and impact.
“In this space, technology is important but execution matters even more. We deliver systems that last, and at a cost significantly lower than European systems that are 2.5 times more expensive yet serve far fewer clients. Our mission is to prove that going green can also be commercially viable and scalable.” Stephen mentioned.
